The Vocational Nursing Class 2006-2007 had a very successful Health Fair on April 28, 2007. Our neighboring Carson Bible church was kind enough to lend their parking lot for the health fair. The VN students performed free blood pressure checks, cholesterol and blood sugar checks, height and weight measurement, vision screening, and dental and diabetic teaching. Dozens of blood sugar machines were given free courtesy of Pfizer. Click below to view the photos from this event. |
TVC HEALTH FAIR - APRIL 21, 2007

Due to the success of the April health fair, TVC was invited to conduct another health screening service for the residents of Filipinotown in Los Angeles during the Lord of Harvest church's yard sale in May 2007. This outreach was spearheaded by our very own Physician Assistant/Family Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Brian Mitu, who also provided free consultations. Click below to see the photos from this event. |
